FlipAuto only publishes listings and is not a party to the sale. Before you buy, follow these simple rules — they protect you from most scams.
- Meet the seller and inspect the car in daylight, ideally with a mechanic or at an independent inspection centre.
- Check that the seller’s name matches the vehicle registration card (Mulkiya).
- Check fines, bank liens and accident history through official services (RTA in Dubai or your emirate’s traffic authority) before paying.
- Confirm the specification (GCC or imported) and the VIN on the car and in the documents.
- Complete the ownership transfer through RTA or your emirate’s authority; pay at or after the transfer, using a traceable method.
- Never share codes you receive by SMS or Telegram, and never pay “booking” or “shipping” deposits to strangers.
