1. Who we are
FlipAuto (the “Platform”) is an online classifieds service for vehicles, available at flipauto.online and as the Telegram Mini App @flipautoapp_bot. The service is intended for users in the United Arab Emirates.
The Platform is operated by Masis Martirosyan, a private individual (“we”, “us”). You can contact us via the contact form or via Support in the Mini App (Profile → Support).
2. Acceptance
By opening the Platform, creating an account or posting a listing, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
The Platform may be used by persons aged 18 or over who are legally able to enter into contracts.
3. What the Platform is — and is not
3.1. The Platform only lets sellers (private persons and dealers) publish vehicle listings and lets buyers view them and contact sellers via Telegram.
3.2. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not sell, buy, inspect, own, store or deliver vehicles. We do not accept, hold or transfer payments. We are not an agent, broker or dealer for any user.
3.3. Any agreement, payment, ownership transfer or registration is solely between buyer and seller. It is their responsibility to comply with applicable law, including the vehicle registration and transfer rules of the relevant emirate (e.g. RTA in Dubai).
3.4. We do not verify, and do not guarantee, the accuracy, legality or quality of listings, the identity of users, the condition, history or ownership of any vehicle, or that a transaction will be completed.
4. Account
4.1. Access is provided through your Telegram account. You are responsible for the security of your Telegram account and for all activity under it.
4.2. You may delete your account at any time in the Mini App (Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account removes your listings, their photos and your car search requests.
5. Listing rules
5.1. You may list only a vehicle that you own or are authorised to sell. Dealers must hold a valid trade licence and state in the listing that they are a dealer.
5.2. A listing must be truthful and complete: a real vehicle, actual photos of that vehicle, a price in AED, accurate mileage, year, specification (GCC or import), accident and damage history known to you, and any bank lien (mortgage).
5.3. One vehicle — one listing. Do not duplicate listings or post the same vehicle from several accounts.
5.4. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt (e.g. resize, translate) and promote your listing content on the Platform and our official channels for as long as the listing is published and for a reasonable period after for backup and legal purposes.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not post or do anything that:
- is false, misleading, or a “bait” price or listing for a vehicle that is not available;
- concerns stolen vehicles, vehicles with forged documents or an altered VIN or odometer, or vehicles that cannot be legally sold or registered;
- offers anything other than a vehicle (except accessories or parts where we allow it);
- contains personal data of other people (including faces or identifiable plates of other vehicles) without their consent;
- violates UAE media content standards, including content that insults religion, the State, its symbols or institutions, is obscene, discriminatory, or incites crime;
- infringes intellectual property (e.g. photos taken from other sites);
- is spam, advertising of third-party services, links to external sites, or requests for advance payments or deposits before viewing;
- involves fraud, phishing, money laundering or any unlawful activity;
- attempts to scrape, overload or interfere with the Platform.
7. Moderation and removal
7.1. We may review listings before or after publication, automatically or manually.
7.2. We may refuse, edit (for formatting only), hide or remove any listing, and suspend or delete any account, at our discretion and without prior notice, if we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or the law, or on request of a competent authority.
7.3. Anyone can report a listing with the “Report” button in the Mini App or via the contact form. We review reports as soon as reasonably possible.
7.4. If we remove your listing, we will tell you the reason via the Telegram bot where reasonably possible. You may ask us to review the decision via the contact form.
8. Listing period
8.1. A listing is published for 60 days.
8.2. We remind you via the Telegram bot 3 days and 1 day before a listing expires. You can extend a listing for another 60 days at any time by unpublishing it and publishing it again in “My Cars”; there is no limit on extensions.
8.3. When a listing expires or you unpublish it, it moves to your archive. Listings are kept in the archive for 90 days and are then deleted together with their photos; we notify you via the bot 3 days before deletion. Publishing a listing again from the archive cancels its deletion. Please remove your listing as soon as the vehicle is sold.
9. Fees
Posting listings is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will publish their prices and terms before they apply to you; free features in use at that time will not become paid without notice.
10. Safety
Always inspect the vehicle and its documents in person, check the vehicle history and outstanding fines and liens through official channels, and pay only at or after the official ownership transfer. Never send deposits to people you have not met. See our Safety Tips.
11. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the accuracy of listings and uninterrupted availability.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from: transactions or communications between users; the content of listings; the condition, history or title of any vehicle; fraud by other users; or interruption of the Platform, Telegram or hosting services.
12.2. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100.
12.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for claims, fines and reasonable costs arising from your listings or your breach of these Terms or the law.
14. Third-party services
The Platform works through Telegram, which is governed by Telegram’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Telegram’s services.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version with its date. For material changes, the Mini App will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open it. Continued use after the new version is published means acceptance.
16. Governing law and disputes
16.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
16.2. Before going to court, please contact us via the contact form. We will reply within 30 days and try to resolve the matter.
16.3. If the matter is not resolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent court at the operator’s location.
17. Language
These Terms are available in English, Arabic and Russian. In case of any discrepancy between the versions, the English version prevails.
